3/31/11 - Just Silliness

We got to spend the day with Momma all to ourselves.  It was great, we slept in a little and then went for a nice walk after breakfast, then it was up to Gramma's to visit and steal some grapes and play with the girls.  Then we came home for a nice afternoon nap.  And then the silliness began.

I love Mickey & Minnie, I especially like how they taste.

 

Hi Momma, I like my cool (as in temperature) outfit on this hot day.

I am not so sure about this, Momma and Daddy always keep doors closed (especially outside ones...) humm, must investigate this further.

Look Momma, I fixed it for you, it wasn't broken after all, so we can keep it closed :).

3/30/11 - Catching Up

Momma caught me practicing my standing, and just as she snapped the picture, I lunged forward to get a different toy.

This is my best bashful face, I just love getting Momma to act goofy.  Any time I want to watch her try to get me to smile, I put on my bashful act and end up giggling at her silly antics.

I love playing with balls, and even though I won't leave my hats on for more than a minute, if I distracted with a ball, I'll leave it be for almost 5 minutes... be prepared for lots of ball/hat pictures in the months to come.

I decided to be nice and appease Momma... sort of :).

Momma note: sorry for the blurry pictures, my camera was focusing on the toys in front of them instead of their faces.

3/29/11 - She Finally Missed One

So, Momma didn't get any pictures today, not even after we went to bed.  It was a busy day, playing with our friend outside, Daddy had errands to run after work, so we had a late dinner without him, and then he and Momma ate quick while we were playing and watching a movie.  So, in lieu of pictures, here's some things we did today,

I played with my friend, we had races in the backyard and then took turns on our slide.  I played with Gramma a bit while Marion napped, drank almost a whole water bottle by myself, until Gramma taught me to squirt water out my mouth (I ended up drenched, and Momma and Gramma were in tears from laughing so hard)...

Marion was pulling up on everything all day long, just practicing standing and might I say she's doing great.  Today was also her first day without nursing, she is loving having milk in a sippy cup and is still just as glued to Momma as she was before (maybe even more so), we play a lot, tackling, giggling, copying, rollong around, you name it we do it.  I love my little sister and I love that she's able to play with me more and more every day.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the return of Photoholic Momma, she promises not to miss another day if she can help it.  You ask me and 1 day out of 2 years is pretty darn good...  Silly Momma

3/28/11 - I'm ONE!!!

We got to play outside today, it was a beautiful spring day,

 

And then we came in to get ready for Marion's birthday dinner (I played with these cool car stickers :))

3/27/11 - A New Way to Ride

I got to ride in my new seat today and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!  I talked to Momma and Daddy the whole time!

And I hid under my new snugglies Grampa & Gramma gave me (I was pouting because I had to leave Grampa's).

And I passed out after milk in Daddy's arms because I didn't take an afternoon nap again...

And I was just too cute for words :)

We love that Momma takes pictures of us every day.  It makes us feel special, but come on, that bright flash when we're fast asleep???  What was she thinking tonight.  Tomorrow, can you take our pictures when we're awake?  Everyone's probably pretty tired of seeing us sleeping...

3/21/11 - Play The Day Away

Momma worked on my skirt for my birthday party last night, so she tried it on me today before she puts the finishing touches on it, but, no peeking until my party :)!

I got to play with my blocks today, I really had fun sorting them through the shape sorting lid!

Ta-Da!

And I just gave love all day...  Momma gave me a yummy snack that just made me smile,

And I played coy with Daddy after dinner.

3/20/11 - Getting Ready for Bed???

After Marion had her bath tonight, we got to play and giggle...  Sometimes getting ready for bed for us means tickle fights and chases around the couch!

3/19/11 - Happy Birthday Auntie Erin

Kaylee and I both wanted to hang with Momma tonight.  Miss. Kaylee wanted to see everyone, but she gave special kisses to Momma and me!

3/18/11 - While Boys Sleep...

While everyone else was napping, Momma and I did a test run on my hair for my party.  It's hard to tell in this one but its super curly in the back.  And yes, I know I'm cute!

And Momma forgot to get my picture until I was passed out asleep...  So, guess all the fun stuff happens when I'm sleeping?!? Just kidding, I had too much fun playing to let Momma get the camera this afternoon

3/17/11 - Kisses

I was having fun watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Goy was laying on his side playing with his cars and Momma thought it was cute... so out the camera came.  Goy just played while Momma snapped his shot, but Momma said I needed to smile, and Goy was happy to oblige, so he came over to make me giggle, and I leaned in for a kiss.  The end result - happy babies, happy Momma.

3/16/11 - Smile for the Picture

We had fun craft time today and Momma took our pictures to put on one of them for Daddy...  Cuz we're his Lucky Charms you know.  Now he'll have these fun faces surrounded by a four leaf clover tomorrow.  And since we wanted to give him lots of protection from pinching fingers - we each made him a green card to match!

3/15/11 - Look What I Found

Look Momma, I found this other baby in the stove.  She gives me awesome kisses, and knows just when to give them!  And don't you just love her outfit?  I know I do.  Can I keep her?

Daddy caught me getting out of bed after lights out.  Or rather, he caught me getting back into bed, with Marion's baby.  I just wanted to make sure she was safe and warm tonight Daddy...  so he let me keep her with me.

3/14/11 - Surprise

With 2 weeks to go until my first birthday, I'm pulling out all the stops.  I crawl at super speed and can even keep up with Goy when he's running, I can say Dada, Mama, Baby, Please (Pauh), More (only said that a couple times one night), and have a lot of babble that Goy and I share.  I also love to walk while someone is holding my hands, and tried two days ago to walk behind my walker but fell rather quickly.

Today when Gramma set Goy and his friend up for ride on toy races, I was speedily crawling behind, so she set me up behind my walker and I took off.  I had a few tumbles but that didn't stop me.  And as you can see, Goy was pretty darn proud of his little sister :).

3/13/11 - Play, Play, Play

Goy found some toys Momma had tucked away, and immediately wanted the Winnie the Pooh plane and his Alphabet Train.  He spent a long time today playing with letters...

And I finally got to play with the elephant and monkey from Goy's Choo-Choo.  I just love these little guys.

3/12/11 - Busy Day & Counting Sheep

Momma and Daddy were so busy playing with us in between getting the house ready for Momma's child care inspection today that they didn't break the camera out until 1am (on the 13th) - but as Daddy said, they hadn't gone to bed yet so it still counts as the same day.

I have a head cold so I kept waking up and just happened to catch Momma snapping a picture, so I made her and Daddy tuck me in again before I went back to sleep.

No, it's not drool, when Daddy changed my sheets, he flipped my mattress, so now I get to count the sheep on my bed instead of the sheep in my head :)
