9/30/11 - Busy Day

We had a full day with 2 friends over all day, Momma left right when Daddy got home and then we played and went to bed a little early.  We kept both Momma and Daddy hoppin' like crazy, so here it is... more sleeping pictures - just in case you didn't get your fill this month :)

9/28/11 - Off to the Doctor's we go

I played peek-a-boo with Gramma on the way to my allergist,

After my allergist appointment (yes, I'm still very allergic to peanuts and a little more allergic to eggs than we thought), we headed off to Dr. Koch's where we kept Momma hoppin'

 

We were both very excited to see TG our nurse and Dr. Koch, and behaved so well that we wowed him :).  Goy hid his hand from TG after she did a quick finger prick test, and said no more owie.  But I let her give me a nasal spray for a sucker :) yumm

Marion kept busy with glove balloons (thank you Gramma!)

And while she got her vaccinations I made some new friends and colored a picture for Momma which is on the fridge now.

9/27/11 - Plane Time

Lately we're a little obsessed with riding toys... especially the Winnie The Pooh plane and the Alphabet Train.

Today was a day for snuggles, loves and a few tackle and tickle sessions in between.

Gramma came over for dinner so that after dinner she could help Momma get the apples ready for freezing...  They had fun with the apple peeler-slicer, it made long strands of peel...

And curly apple rings!

9/24/11 - Shoes

While I was busy trying to fill Daddy's shoes...

Marion was working on her walking so she can get more use out of hers! (she's become more confident each day in her walking)

9/23/11 - Dazed & Confused?

9/22/11 - Towers

Daddy and I had fun making towers tonight, and Marion had fun knocking them down.  I wasn't too sure about that at first, but Daddy explained that I used to play that way too.

9/21/11 - My First Picture

Today I colored for the first time ever!  I loved it, until Momma took it all away because I wouldn't stop eating the crayons... come on Momma, they're non-toxic :). 

And they feel so good on my teething gums!

Goy hammed it up like usual :).  This is his "cheese" face and he's trying to roll a piece of a crayon into a ball (he played with play doh the other day and made lots of balls).

He loves making dots on the paper and calling them balls.  It usually works best with markers, but he gave it a shot with crayons today, and really put his arm into the down swing to make his balls :)

9/20/11 - First Time Climbing On the Kitchen Chairs

Daddy had school work tonight and Goy's still bouncing off the walls from his medicine yesterday, so to make Momma's life a little easier while cooking dinner, she had Daddy put up the baby jail to keep us out of the kitchen.  First Goy tested his theory on the couch, push the chair up to the object, climb up, stand on the seat and climb over said object.  It worked well on the couch but Momma caught him before he could do it on the baby jail, so he proceeded to push every chair up to baby jail and then I thought I'd give it a try...

I've been climbing on the couch and recliner and Goy's bed for a while now, but this was the first time I was able to actually get on the chair!!!

9/19/11 - Off to The Doctor We Go

Goy woke up with a croup cough in the middle of the night last night, so after a sleepless night, off to the doctor we went.

Gramma drove so we'd be safe, and at the doctor's office she caught Momma and Goy in deep conversation with the doctor

Then we took off to get some lunch and Goy's medicine (which the pharmacist was nice enough to mix with Goy's shake - even though Momma missed his hand off and dropped most of it :(, there was still enough to recover it and make us smile!)

And since we were in town, Momma and Gramma checked a few items off their to do lists, and on the way home...

and I didn't quite give up the ghost and fall asleep...

9/18/11 - It's For A GOOD Reason :)

Okay, so Momma said she would do better, but here was our day...

Momma and Daddy slept through their alarms and we woke them up with just barely enough time to get ready for church and get out the door, we would have made it on time too if we didn't almost run out of gas.  Thanks to prayers we made it into Calistoga and pulled into the gas station without any issues.  So we were late for church :(, but we weren't the only ones, so we got to run around a bit before services started.  Marion showed off her walking skills (just a couple steps here and there) to Granny and Papa and I gave Papa a 5 minute hug, it was great.  Then we had church which we both did really well during, and then we played with Kira and Kirsten non stop for 20 minutes.  I was dripping :).

Then off to Costco, where thankfully we can get pizza and its safe for Marion (we still check every time :)).  So Daddy treated us to pizza while we shopped for a few necessities (and we have leftover for lunch tomorrow - YUMMM!).

And we got home at 4:30, rested, Marion worked on walking some more and then we had dinner, took a bath, read a bedtime story and passed out.  I didn't even get up once to see if they meant business when they tucked us in, and Marion didn't even cry.

So, yes, you got more sleeping pictures, but you see, we were just too busy living life today to tote around the big camera.  We're home tomorrow, so watch out!

Catching Up

Hi Everyone - Momma here.

I'm sorry for the long delay in getting up pictures to the blog.  We have been really busy and I just can't seem to get into a rhythm with it, so we're making some changes.  I'm hoping to get my energy back up after a rough couple months and get the house back together, and start taking pictures of the kids when they're doing all the cute things I want to remember throughout the day.

Thanks for hanging in there with us, we miss seeing those of you we haven't in too long and hope to catch up with you soon.
