Our week with Momma

For our week off, 

We went to the park to feed the ducks with Addisyn, Teagan and Lana. 

Wednesday we went to the splash pad with Lana 

Then we went on an adventure to discover the outlying parts of town. 

Thursday we did more exploring, lunch at Jason's deli, more exploring and some clothes shopping since we've all outgrown our church clothes. 

Friday we stole Daddy and went to opening day of Planes!!!!!

Saturday we rested and went to the big fish store.

Sunday, we went to church, then out to lunch with our friends Mr. Andy, Mrs. Marjorie, Mr. Scott, Mrs. Cynthia, Mr. Nathan. 

In the evening, we went to Church and then to a baseball game Uncle Wayne and Auntie Lacey got us tickets to.

Monday we went to lunch and played at a park off campus before Momma went back a bit early. 

8/3/13 - Want to Cuddle

This time of night makes Momma wish for a really big bed :). Then again, we'd never sleep if that was the case. 

Emma Update

Emma's spot is looking better. May take a couple weeks to go away. The lab result was a staff contaminant meaning it was from a staff bacteria that is not found normally on people and was picked up from somewhere.  Dr. Argenal was expecting mrsa but was very pleased that it wasn't. We continue with the cream for the seven days and antibiotics for the ten days. We only need to bring her back if it gets worse or if we see signs of another spot forming. He also said to keep a look out for similar spots on the other kids.

Emma Update

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your prayers and comments. Emma is still just a happy baby. The spot on her leg is a little bit better. Still a long way to go, but we are working on it. The doctor thinks it is either an abscess or a staph infection. It is now open and they were able to get a sample from the puss. We should have results tomorrow or Monday. She has another 10 day antibiotic regimen and 7 day ointment regimen.  

Please continue to pray! Will keep everyone updated when we find out what is exactly going on.

We are calling on all of you, and those you know. Please pass this along. 

Emma has been dealing with double ear infections since June 11th. She had a ten day antibiotic treatment for strep throat May 27th, so for the double ear infection they went with a stronger antibiotic 10 day treatment. It seemed to clear up and 3 days after finishing the antibiotic she was sick again. This time she had 3 antibiotic shots. Again seemed to clear up but 3 days after treatment her ears were hot and she had fever again. Everyone prayed hard. Her ears were clear 3 hours later at the doctors office. She had just a virus. We went in two weeks ago for her well visit and she woke up that morning feverish and sure enough the double ear infection was back. The doctor referred us to an ENT to look at tubes and put her on the strong 10 day antibiotic. She just finished the treatment. 

The site where she got 2 of the injections previously had a bump under the skin. In the last two days it has become red and this morning it is red and yellow with a rash on it and is spreading down her leg. 

Please pray. Frankie has her at the doctor now with Goy and Marion. I'm working all day so being kept up to date via text. 

Feeling Better and Looking Sweet

I am feeling so much better now!  I have been fever free since Thursday afternoon!!!  Now I just want Momma. She has been working while Daddy takes care of Goy, Marion and I. 

Now that I'm better, watch out cuz I'm not letting go of her!!!!

Oh yeah, and Marion fell asleep while eating dinner. Lots of late nights and no naps lately.
