11/11/10 - We Play All Day

I sat down beside Marion to play with her and she toppled over... by her reaction, I think she thought I pushed her - promise I didn't.

But once Momma sat her back up, she was happy as could be,

Then we read together.  Marion liked playing in all the books,

And I found my Toy Story book and wouldn't put it down.  I've been glued to Toy Story 3 for 3 days now and I wasn't too happy when Momma turned it off today, but this book made it better.

Remembering a True Hero

Although it's still hard to believe Granddad's not with us on this earth anymore, it's impossible to forget his courage in life, especially on Porkchop Hill in Korea.  I want to make sure my children know what kind of a man he was and how much he loved us all.

11/10/10 - Family!!!

Everyone came over tonight to see our new house and have a yummy turkey dinner G.G. Ma made!  We were so excited to see Lukas and Kaylee again.  And G.G. Pa & G.G. Ma entertained us with their duck calls.

Lukas took a nap under the kitchen mat (and even turned the lights out for a minute).

Marion slept a lot today, but was very happy when she woke up and saw everyone.

And of course, Momma couldn't pass up on a photo opportunity.

11/9/10 - BURRRRRR!

Momma and Daddy are still getting used to the new house and since we were on natural gas before, they forgot to check the propane tank when we moved in, so this morning, we had no heater, no stove and no hot water.  And boy was it cold.  Gramma came over and built a fire and Momma made a call to get us some propane and...

By mid-day we'd forgotten the bitter cold of the morning.

- Momma note: since our new house is very well insulated, it didn't get freezing, just cold enough to be uncomfortable.

11/8/10 - Too Much Travel

After a whole day in the car yesterday you'd think Momma would let us stay home - but no...  We had to go to Roseville to our doctor to finish off our flu shots and from our new house it's a 2.5 hour drive one way.  Then we had to go up to our old house for Momma to take care of something and then drive back home, from 9 - 5:30 we were stuck either in the car or in the stroller... I think we finally convinced Momma to switch doctors so we don't have to go so far.

You can't tell in these pictures, but we were having fun visiting with eachother.  I lean forward and so does Goy and we'd talk and giggle and Goy would even send toys over my way sometimes.

11/7/10 - Diaper Babies Again?!?

After a VERY LONG day in the car and at church (left the house at 9 am and got home at 5:30 pm), we were able to stretch our legs and wiggle.  I love having Marion sit next to me and play with me.

I like playing with Marion's baby.

And I love playing with my baby too!  She's lots of fun!
