12/16/10 - A Nap & Broccoli

While Marion took a nap in Daddy's arms (I think Daddy napped a little too)...

I got to have dinner with Momma.  And I even asked for broccoli tonight.  I ate a lot of it!  Momma was so happy since I haven't been eating any veggies lately.  Marion thinks it was the mayonnaise I was after... maybe she's right, but it still made Momma's day.

12/15/10 - A Snuggle Day

We had a snuggle day today.  Everyone wanted Momma's attention, so, the cooking and cleaning were put on hold and she spent time with Goy, our friend and me.  It sure helped us sleep better tonight.

Momma found a trail of ants today trying to come in from the front yard (I wouldn't want to be out there either), so the gingerbread house we built had to go :(.  Momma took pictures first to document our first gingerbread house.  Note the gummy bear guards all around the house, Daddy wanted to make sure Momma's pretty house was protected.

 

12/14/10 - 23 Months Old!

It's official... One month to go and I'll be 2!  Look out Momma!

And what a busy month it will be.  Momma spent a little bit of time today adding ornaments to the tree and putting up some more Christmas decorations.  At this rate she just might finish by Valentines day (just kidding Momma!).  I got to play with these wooden Santa Clauses that nest inside each other.  They were so much fun, I kind of felt like I was getting away with something.  I even tried to say Santa when I was playing with a Santa pez!

I got to watch Momma and Goy decorate tonight.  I liked being able to stand up in my exersaucer and watch Momma trim the tree and Goy figure out ways get into trouble.  All the while, I was happy and of course, just as cute as a button.  It's too much fun being me!!!

12/13/10 - Bedtime Story

We talked Momma into letting us get our bedtime story in Goy's big boy bed.  It was lots of fun because we were able too wiggle a lot (Momma and Daddy thought a little too much).

12/12/10 - Hidden Valley Chirstmas Light Contest

We got to stay up late tonight because Grampa & Gramma took us to see all the houses decorated for Christmas.  It was really fun when the decorators gave us treats.  My favorite treat was the popcorn at the gingerbread themed house.  Momma wouldn't let Marion have any of the popcorn or candy cane, but maybe I'll sneak her some tomorrow :).

12/11/10 - Date Night...

Daddy and Momma took me with them to a friends house to play with two babies a bit older than me while they had fun making gingerbread houses.  It was a fun night (I promise I had fun, even though I cried... really, I did).  And Goy played with Grampa & Gramma while we built houses.  But, I didn't want to be left out of any of the fun, so I played with Grampa when we picked up Goy.

I was happy to spend the night with Grampa & Gramma, they even let me carry around the streetlamps to their village.  It was so much fun getting to pick up the people and lights and move them from table to table.

12/10/10 - Men's Work & Woman's Work

I got to help Daddy mow the lawn tonight when he got home.  I love being outside and doing guy things with my Daddy... he's my best bud!

While the boys were outside playing with the lawn mower, I got to help Momma cook.  She pulled me right up to the stove and let me watch (and eat some puffs).  I just love tagging along with Momma.
